Hi Mark,

Is that the K&R white metal kit you're referring to? I'd be very interested to hear (and see) how things progress. Very Happy

Out of interest, did you get along to the Croft rallycross last weekend? I looked for you but figured you might have had a change of mind. Crying or Very sad

Ah!  That explains it, then!

Hope you enjoyed the racing as much as I did.

The Suzuki Swift Juniors were a bit of a let down (hmm, which one of the two was going to win! Rolling Eyes  ) but even then there were surprises.  Made for a natural break in between the exciting stuff.

Spent some time each day on the grandstand and walked around to the far end to get close to the hairpin and finish line as well.  Spent about 30 mins on Saturday standing on the pit wall, which was excellent. Sadly, our passes didn't allow us to stay there so we got moved on!  pirat

I've never seen so many races in one weekend where the firt two runners changed their positions in the last two corners, but there were several accasions that happened.  Great stuff!

Keep us up to date with the K&R progress.  My first kit was a K&R one - a 1/43 scale model of the Triumph TR7.  Took me 13 years to make it (I'm much quicker now! Embarassed  ) and finished it soon before I sold the full-size car.  Was useful, going out into the garage and checking the angles of the window winder handles so I could get them exactly right on the model. Surprised    Still can't believe they were separate pieces, but the whole thing went together very well after a whole lot of fettling!

Cheers, Steve

K+R will put a RHD dash in with it and I will put an engine in the front of it so will make it with the bonnet open.

I did consider buying the express van model but went for the rally one instead

Hi Mark,

Were K&R happy to do an extra dashboard for you, i.e. the RHD one?

I ask because I'm making a Rover BRM LE (road-going) model but need an interior and 'glass' to finish it off. The body is complete, sprayed and decalled, but I either need an interior and glass or to use black plastic for the windows and do without the interior.

Cheers, Steve
