Rally Mexico

Post  Sal the 2nd on Mon Mar 13, 2017 8:16 am

Know the event has ended but bloody hell what an ending! Kris could have been looking at the end of his career there but a win is win and at least unlike Ogier in Spain a year or so ago he kept it going. Guess the knob who parked his Passat so close to the stage will have an interesting insurance claim....

Chris

He had led from the start and nearly lost the lot 1km from the end.

I bet he was panicking during the tour of the car park..

Love the pics of the Passat - someones written VW couldnt stop you this time Kris. Lol. Well done but im sure the boys at Citroen HQ will have something to say (along similar lines as the WRC in car video of his co-drivers thoughts on the event as it unfolded - lol)

Glad to hear, it's never nice when results get amended after a rally

I'm sure we all remember the way Citroen carried on in 2002 and cost Makinen the chance to properly celebrate his final win and record equaling 24th victory Sad [plus the fortnight of advertising that followed]
