Italeri Ford Escort Mk2

I see that Italeri have recently released a 1:24 plastic kit of the 1979 Monte Carlo Rally Ford Escort Mk2 of Waldegaard & Thorzelius.

The price is pretty reasonable too.

So the question is...is this the same kit originally released by Esci and then Revell?

I don't have this kit yet but I'm told it is a modified version of the same Esci/Revell model, what they have altered I don't know but I don't think the arches etc look any different, still 22.49 from Hiroboy, they be selling for over 30 in a year or so on ebay

I have seen a shell and although the illustration shows wide arches it's not a wide arch car! It is the same old shell from Esci/Humbrol-well worn out by now Id say!
