Opening a Paypal claim Empty Opening a Paypal claim

I bought something on Ebay, I paid, it never arrived.

What are the consequences for me (as a buyer) if I want my money back through a Paypal claim?

Don't know mate - but I do know what it's like from the other end! Mad

A buyer said he never received an item I sold and posted. He puts a claim in with Paypal, but all I have is a proof of postage - NOT a proof of delivery! - and so they debit my account with the total amount! End of...

I still very much doubt that he was being genuine after all the stories I have read on the matter.

I think I will now adopt the same stance that others have on here regarding International postage - only send items insured in the future!

No offence meant of course Juha. Wink

Put in a dispute through ebay and you will normally get your money back. It takes a while but the buyer always seems to get priority!

I think both Chris and I said exactly the same thing but just in different ways - ebay really does favour the buyer. Wink

In your case that's good news Juha, but in mine not so good! Crying or Very sad

He should have sent it insured, his fault, I don't mind paying for the privilege.

I suppose having a 100% record will be quite helpful for my case. Smile
