thought i'd ask anyway!
im 32 (for those that dont know lol) never smoked a day in my life and when fitting decals it can still be a shakey business sometimes.
is there any smokers on here that build models and if yes how the feck do you work with the shakey hands!

.
See that's your problem.... you should smoked as it settles your nerves + you will look really cool
I smoke and don't have shakey hands, it's only when I've been off the drink for about an hour I start to shake

Re: silly question i know but......
... and for a sensible answer to the original, not so silly question: Get yourself a vice! OK, I know we all have them anyway - my wife says that my models and model making are my vice!
However, I have had a sneaky trial run with a new Dremel Multi Vice (it's a Fathers' Day present which I was checking for completeness, you understand!) and found it to be an excellent tool when cutting off the front splitter from a 6R4 bodyshell. Cut it off in one go, like an apple skin, then smoothed it off and no shaking. I'll be using it to hold models as I apply decals too, but not until after Fathers' Day, ahem!
Link to the vice on Amazon is here: £26.09 well spent, I'd say! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dremel-26152500JA-Multi-Vice/dp/B000QG79ZW/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1339505279&sr=8-17
Cheers, and happy tooling around... without shaking, Steve
