Laser printers

Okay, the time I feel has come to buy a colour laser, any advice on models etc from people who have them? Does colour reproduction vary much between makes, what do I need to watch for wtc? all help much appreciated!

Cant help you David, but ill be watching this as well. Been on the look out for a colour laser printer for a while now, but have been put off as i dont know what printers will print to the dpi needed

I know Bruno uses a Samsung CLP 325, and it does a very good job, might just copy him but thought I'd see what ideas come up here 1st.

Found the same thing Brian, shops dont give the info on Lasers the same way they do for inkjet, I dont care if it can do 20 pages a minute, I just want good dpi and colour reproduction, it can take all day to print it if it wants!

Spoken to someone about this before and George and Phil Boyle use a Samsung CLP320.

Both look to have the same Resolution up to 2400 x 600dpi

Mine is a CLP320

Amazon have the CLP 320 for £66.75 at the moment. Just tried to buy one but they wont ship to southern ireland from that seller.

I use a Konica Minolta 4650 DN-its photo quality is very poor compared to the 2300 DL I had before. Suggest you buy a computer mag and read the reviews. Also you need to think about the consumables-Toner cartridges, rollers transfer belts etc. The Konica toners are crazy price to replace-The total of 4 different colour 4000 page cartridges cost the same as the whole printer! Buy online too as its cheaper! The 8000 page even more!
