Video man is my mate from Lisburn!!!! ( Must be all Headers from that neck of the woods Paul!!!!!! )
We had some craic following those Rallies!
The Circuit was 5 days and it was class heading down to Waterford and all the European Drivers coming over here!
I remember being at a corner where Juha Kankkunen & Fred Gallagher free wheeled to a halt after blowing the engine in their Twin Cam Corolla ( Autographs & Pics ) to think what lay ahead for Juha!
Toivonen in the 911, loads of Mantas! and to top it off the weather was so much better then!

Colin..do you remember the Rothmans manta pacecars. I recall them lights the lot on roof. Have pics of them somewhere parked up at Omagh bus depot together.

Please please any pics of the Rothmans circus. I found one on facebook of the Cork 20 service area with an Opel Rekord and VW Passat estate chase cars. Have bought base models for repainting. There was a bus and a Winnebago involved as well as the VWLt's.
That run to Waterford was my first Circuit with none other than Kevin Furber in an Astra GTE.

Will be home for new year..so will have a gander around me mothers attic to see if i can find them...I know i did take quite a few pics of them from different angles because i had never seen anything like it...

Omagh show grounds and Omagh main street..crikey i wasnt to far away from you colin. Over night halt was in royal arms hotel. Now defunct.

James I have found 1 picture of a GTE it is a white Car reg A532 LTM sorry its only a front shot and dont know the entry number!

B280 UNK was the reg car #101 Got a few pics from rallyretro of it during the year. No picture of the rear. Otherwise I would be bugging someone to get a model done !
