ex-DMG S14
Didn't hang on to it for too long, did he? On Wednesday, Brian Patterson was saying on his webpage that he may have sold it. Looks like Steve Simpson has got his hands on it for Birr today.

Who will be the first person to 'wrap' a 1/43 or even a 1/18 diecast model?

Yeah - I was just quoting BP's page. I don't know myself what the story is, except that Simpson has it today.

Does DMG have the Focus 06 still
It would be great to see him out in that and then I could do the model

I think its more to do with the fact that Irish tarmac is completely different to any other tarmac. It will take a while to get the car setup. The cars its up against have been rallying in ireland for a few years now. It would make a really nice model in any scale

Re: ex-DMG S14
I read that Derek has new suspension on the way for the bumpy stuff, that may sort her out. It also did say that Derek mightn't have the car long enough to try the suspension for himself. Once we see it on Irish tar again I don't mind, here's hoping...

Re: ex-DMG S14
Knowing as DMG is a rallycar dealer he had been after this last year
It came up again forsale and bought it with a view to use then sell
Steve Simpson was after something newer than the S12 and contacted Derek then flew over to view the car at Kirkistown.
Derek was selling it but wanted to do Galway and then did magic bullet stages in it
he had it sold last week and has taken steves Hyundai in part ex which is now forsale
Derek told me this in an email and he is looking for something that is non subaru or Ford WRC
