Well done James and Owen!

Maybe it's a trick of the light, but the car looks Mitsubishi-shaped and not an MG! Has the MG been retired?

Cheers and many congratulations, guys, Steve

Thanks guys,

Anyone game to do a model of an Evo with no back bumper and not much left of the front one either.

Philip Morrow is a class act and we had to really push the boat out to stay ahead of him. His front bumper wasn't pretty after the last stage either - there should be proper landing gear fitted to those Evos Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil Rolling Eyes .

For the confused and bewildered - me included - its Monaghan next weekend in the MG with Roy . Razz Very Happy

Congrats James on an unreal result on what looks like it was the most competitive rally in the Irish Forestry for years!

It was Owen, Philip Morrow, Dan O'Brien yesterday, Mick O'Brien was 4th so I reckon thats Philip in a slight lead in the championship after 3 events

Pauls neighbour Philip Morrow second Mick third and Dan fourth. Peculiar system introduced this year whereby each competitor nominates one event to score double points. Mick nominated Carrick so he will be leading the Championship for some time. We nominated Cork in August and Philip nominated the Bushwhacker in september.

I had the privilege of being the first recipient of the Gareth Roberts Perpetual Trophy - presented to the winning codriver in honour of the late Jaffa.

Grace had a good day - she sat in with a young lad from Omagh she had never met before and called the safety notes blind - they didn't have time to look at the dvd. They won their class.

I cant think of any other co-driver that has the success JOB has had. Not only on the big stage with Nesbitt etc, but all the class wins with numerous drivers from all over the country. Id say JOB would be very near the top of the list for the most successful driver/co-driver ever in ireland

My wife would consider herself as a navigator who would pip James. "Slow down", "watch that car", "your going too fast"' "take the next left, I mean your left, not my left, when I say left I mean right, you've missed the junction - why don't you listen to me......", "why won't you stop and ask for directions", "how can you expect me to listen to you and do my makeup at the same time?"
