cant view forum on acer tablet

Tried to view forum on tablet screen goes grey but no forum

Go to your settings in Honeycomb browser and see if you User-Agent String is set to tablet. This is for native browser though, If it is, you will have to check whether or not your Opera user-agent was changed as well.

I don't use Opera but you should be able to look through settings and see if there's an user-agent string setting there. It might be set to Desktop.

Upon further inspection I can tell you that Opera has a problem of not being recognized as mobile on tablets and phones.

Here's what works:

Type opera:config in url
search(with the search bar) user-agent
typing in

Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.1; U; en) Presto/2.6.30 Version/10.63


there will give you desktop pages. (opera desktop 10.63/windows7 user-agent)and

if you type:


Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; Liquid Build/MASTER) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1


should make the browser identify itself to websites as mobile.
