You could well be right Chris! Shocked

Either way, it's still pretty much unexplainable anyway as we cannot guarantee what it was like when the seller sold it, or what torture it endured en route. All we do know is that DC is quite a happy little bunny with the outcome! bounce

I now find myself with yet another 1986 Manx base model, and even if I give it a replacement interior, floorpan and discard the rest to my brand new 'Spares Not Likely To Find A Use For' box, I have still got the important parts it for FREE! Very Happy

Many thanks guys for your consideration over the last few days, and at least we might be able to think that there's yet another eBay seller out there who has been educated how to package a model correctly. Wink

Crying or Very sad I was wondering if Brian could cast them, the mirrors he's done are great.

The advantage with the mirrors is that they are 1/18 - the lamp pod backets are weeny little 1/43 feckers that jump out of your hand for no reason!

Might be worth asking him though. Wink
