not a happy bunny!!! (or.....'Ode to Jimmy')

ok, so I went to have a gander at my dvd of 93 tarmac series, which I transferred with all the others from video a few years back, only to find there ain't a thing on the disc!!!!!!!      ............in these times of distress, only poetry can calm me........

Now Jimmy, he needed a decal
From Donegal '93,
And on this very forum,
He threw down the gauntlet to me...

'Come on Billy' he challenged
'Lets see you get me some results'
And of course I couldn't resist it,
I'm eager, it's one of my faults.

So down to the basement I ventured
Where the models and rally stuff live,
And picked out the Donegal rally
A picture, to Jimmy, to give.

Then upstairs again, I trundled
All chuffed and full of high hope
But when I inserted the disc
Did a rally begin to play? NOPE!

There's not a hint of a Beemer,
No scoobies, no Mantas at all
It seems that someone around here
Has kindly deleted them all!

As some of you know, my model-mates,
I live with my dear-beloved wife
Who makes sure my peace and tranquillity
Are regularly battered by strife.

She'll slag off my precious collection
Calling them 'your silly wee toys'
And that, I can take for forever,
But she's gone too far this time, my boys.

To delete my 93 rallies
I'm sure you'll agree was quite 'shi__y'
So now to steep overnight in Nitromors
Her discs of 'Sex and the City'!!

Ah revenge, 'tis sweet, 'tis calming
I'm back to my usual self
Now all my other great rallies
Are safely placed high on a shelf,

I'm only sorry, young Jimmy
That I have failed in your wee request
But this time the fault is my missus'
She who 'always knows best'

But this time I'll show her who's boss
That I'm a man, and not just a mouse
I'd give off more but I hear her
She's parking at the back of the house.

Its not that I'm afraid of her you know
I'll show her that I know no fear
What's that you say 'where's your dinner?'
I'll put it on right now my dear....................... 

Ah Billy that is class mate. Tell your wife in going to give her a kic**** when I meet her lol

steve m8, no she wouldn't come on here, though one night she noticed my signature !!  .................................the doctors say I should be able walk in a straight line again in a few weeks!

Take it easy, Billy, and some ice on the lap for a few minutes every hour is meant to reduce the swelling!
