Brentwood Toy Fair is tomorrow at the Brentwood Centre in sunny Essex. Nowhere near as good as it used to be, but worth a visit to pick up parts work models for base cars/cannibalising

For you guys in the south. Sandown Park toyfair on the 16th November. Me and my mate are going down to it. Usually a good fair and it's the last one there this year.

Sandown Park toyfair today. Very good fair but not alot of rally stuff. Lots of old Dinky, tinplate etc.
Picked up a few bits eventually.
Also met up with Steve (Hampton Caught). Good to see you Steve and nice to put a face to a name.

Good to meet you too, Chris!   I now realise I need an MG S2000 for my collection!  

Managed to pick up a couple of road Minis and an Austin Healey Streamliner kit, which will be 'different'  . You're right, Chris, there wasn't that much rally stuff at Sandown. I was hoping for some model-making tools too, but another time.

Hi Chris, don't worry, that's not what I meant.... it's just that I have decals for an MG S2000 and I need a donor (or more so I can make my own decals up!) to add to the collection.   Having ordered a new display cabinet at Sandown, I'll need something to put in it! (OK, I'm already well on the way to doing that already, but hey, I only have one S2000 to date!).

what with the start of 2014 wrc season, plus the taking over of the forum by brian, thought i'd be a bit anal and bump this up to the top again, brian maybe you'd make this a sticky when you get a chance, nicky didn't get to do it and neither paul nor I were able to....

I think we'll have some more wrc comments this year with meeke and breen etc giving some british/irish interest on the bigger stages...(pardon the pun!!)   so maybe this thread could hold all the events/rallies/etc posts.....
