The FIA want bigger cars for the WRC, so maybe this could be a contender

I'd love to see the GT86 in rear wheel drive form rather than 4 wheel drive cars return to the WRC to get the "slowly sideways" action going, but too few rear wheel drive cars are made these days.

Toyota Motorsport is building a 2-litre RWD version for international rallying. The purpose of the 4WD car is unknown.

Hmmm looks interesting. Is this the beginning of the new WRC   

If this new WRC cars it would need to have more power and certainly look a lot better

Just read that at Rally Germany Toyota ran a GT86 in R3 spec as the course 0 car - hallelujah it was rear wheel drive! Apparently very well received by the fans.

everything rally car should be rear wheel drive, far more spectacular to watch. And as from flame spitting cars, well..................it is pretty in the dark
