Just learned that Mark who used to be a member and was well known around the model and rally circuit sadly has become a victim of this dreadful virus.

Condolences to his family and many friends.

Just read the same. I had no idea he had been taken ill. Very sad indeed. RIP Mark.

Mark and myself would not always have seen eye to eye over the years. I will acknowledge a hugely successful page he set up the the Britishrallyforum for photos of older rally cars and likewise on Facebook.  I gather he has left behind a partner and two sons and the passing of their loved one is a huge loss for his family and I extend my sympathies to them on the tragedy that has befallen them.

Met mark a few times at northwest stages and always enjoyed rally and model chat good guy gone hope his family are ok during this time

Just read the news that Mark had passed away today after seemingly coming thru this virus.

I never met Mark and I don't know that I ever spoke with him, but everyone seemed to know him.

Whether you liked him or not its sad when a fellow enthusiast passes away.

Still stunned and not really anything to say which hasn't already been said. Chatted to Mark a lot on both the old forum and messenger. Lovely guy and a real family man. Forever grateful he did my cousin Fintan's MKII in 1/43. Wish I'd spoken to him more in more recent times

Like many I am truly devasted by this news

It was such a shock because yesterday the news was good mark had been moved from intensive care to a ward

Life can be so cruel
