What would you do?

Interesting scenario earlier on, got a message on Facebook from a friend who expressed an interest in my collection and asked to be considered if I ever decided to sell all or part of it. Question is, what would you do if someone should a similar interest in your collection??



And before any of you vultures get any ideas...my collection is NOT for sale

i schould sale this for the right price off course

its simple with me....if the money is needed sell, if not keep the collection.

any kmd models for sale......would i be called a vulture peter

Depends on how much is offered or how much u value each model!

Near tempted off selling my collection.. Probably because I'm going through a dry spot at the minute. And probably be a while before I buy any more models..

If the price is right then no problem selling, especially if you could sell your collection in one go.

I have wondered how on earth I will ever be able to sell all my models, if and when I stop collecting, as I cannot see anyone being able to afford to purchase my whole collection

Most of my 1/43 models i would sell if i needed the cash and the right price was offered. There are some i wouldnt sell, no matter how much i needed the money.

Nearly all my 1/18s are base models in my eyes, waiting for the right set of irish decals to pop up. But any models that are done wouldnt leave my house unless the buyer had dropped a significant amount of money in their place.

I couldn't contemplate selling my collection, for any amount of money. There are a number of limited edition models and the chance of being able to replace those are next to zero. Many of the others, whihc I've collected over the past 7-8 years, have risen in replacement price hugely over that time. I used to be able to pick up Vitesse Mini models for £5+ P&P and now they're often starting in the high teens plus P&P, so I think I'll keep hold, thanks very much. Like may of us on the Forum, I've modified many of the models, and have invested too much time and effort into the models to want to sell, ever!

HOW i wish id kept ALL MINE-------------Mantas/Chevettes/Escorts mk1&2------------------i dont even have anything ive built, i even sold my 300 plus rally video collection a good few years ago as they were just taking up space in the attic and some of those videos had never been on general release to the public two in particular would be worth a fortune now------so unless you need the money---my advice is DONT SELL
