Wyedean Rally
Anyone else on here going to the Forest of Dean this weekend?
We're leaving on Friday eve for our yearly dose of British gravel rallying.

Re: Wyedean Rally
I was debating wether to go or not. The weather forecast here isnt too good for the next few days plus I am working on the saturday night. Might pop to local driver Geoff Cottrill's tomorrow or thursday to see his 6R4 before the event. Great to see 3 of them out, although its strange not seeing Andy Burton out on a btrda event.
Have a fun, and more importantly safe weekend guys

I'm glad I'll see D770GHP again.
There's 6 or 7 of us traveling down from Belgium. If you spot a French speaking photographer with a team GMF bonnet, that's me.

Re: Wyedean Rally
Can't make it down this year Juha - as much as I'd like to meet up with you, and see the three 6R4s that are on the entry list.
Make sure you get plenty of those professional photos of the 6R4s that we're so used to seeing after you've been to a rally!
Have a good un mate, and make sure you pack Arctic clothing - it's going to be white and freezing!

Re: Wyedean Rally
And a 3 litre V64V will do exactly the same Steve, but from a couple of miles further away - even if it is fitted with a modern-day noise-stifling exhaust system!
I hope you too enjoy your weekend mate, but can I put a request in for plenty of pics on here next week please.

I'm not sure if that is a famed local wild beast, a twisty frozen incline into Stage 1, or a heavy local real ale that Juha might have sampled Chris?Sal wrote:Hope the Wild Boar didnt give you too many problems Juha!
Re: Wyedean Rally
Just look at the full gallery of Juha's images then you will realise what I'm on about David!!

Eve Guys
Just seen this thread, I was here this weekend spannering for a mate, who's son was in FS1400. First time I have set off south & it got colder LOL. 3am sat Kendal 0 Degrees 7am Chepstow -5 Degrees, even at 11am in forest of dean it was still -5 Degrees.
Temp improved as the day went on, the crews that stuck it out well done! as quite a few went home early due to the conditions.
