Rally Car career

Has anyone attempted to do models of an particular car each time it changed livery and/or changed hands. The thought occured to me when tracing back the history of Mick and Danny O'Brien Focus's on ewrc. In the case of Micks 08 car I already have the Hirvonen Cork 20 version, the Ken Block version is on ebay, Mikkelsen would not be that difficult, nor would Wilson but Gronholm PG Andersson and Therman would be difficult.

I probably have most of the models that span the life of GXI 9427 - tracing the real life of those plates would be a journey in itself.

It was that link that got me thinking.

Like the idea myself James, decals have been done for Ratanens Focus which was basically the same livery as Thermans, unfortunately Ratanen had more sponsors and they are all made in one peice with the background and sponsors together so a conversion wouldnt really work

would love to try to do more L555FEL and R555FEL liveries from their time in Ireland in other drivers hands, any help appreciated and if my efforts are successful decals will be available.

Thanks to Cardy I have just got the Portugal Gronholm model (car 0) on ebay. There is currently an unbuilt Mikkelsen kit on ebay as well as a set of decals.

Was thinking of doing something similar with the Mitsubishi WRC we had in Donegal and Cork. Rovapera,Galli and Carlsson were the three involved.
