Re: Polish decals
I bet he can't see the difference between what he produced and what he should have produced!
Re: Polish decals
I got decals today too and was disappointed so see lots missing. I did wonder at the time how the cheque plate would come out but he has a novel solution; just don't do it!

Re: Polish decals
guys, besides the missing decals how is the quality?
I earlier had my own rally car's decals made in 1/18 and printed but not so happy with the decal sheet quality and the final result of printing.
any comments for yours?

Re: Polish decals
.
I'll Quote what I posted in response to Paul in the other thread about these decals,
""I'm sittin here looking at a set of these Gass decals,
As well as matching a colour to paint the model blue you will also need to scan the decals and reprint them in white!!
You will have to use the white decal first and then place the colour decals on top the same as Jawi do there's,
There's no depth to these decals and they don't have the main blue part of the car!!
Another case of a decal man printing decals knowing that he will never use them
Leave it with me and I'll see if I can work something out, I'd say me and you are not the only one's in a hole with these""
.
I think I'll be checking with people selling decals from now on, a photo proof of the decals would have showed what was missing,

Yeah seen that Paul
The only thing I'd be worried about is when the decals have to go on a dark coloured model,
Looking at the sets I have here you can just about see the light blue backing paper showing through,
I've a set of McGarrity Ulster 2012 decals here and the Kerr's may not be all that white when fitted

Gents - how did you come across this guy? The reason I ask is that a guy I've exchanged emails with via eBay has offered to produce some decals for me. He's based in Poland.........
His eBay user name is "all-ok"

Couple of things to watch, Colin;
1. No silver decal for rh side behind rear wheel - I've dropped him an email about it and he said he'll pass it onto me.
2. I put a white panel on the bonnet before I put the bonnet panel on as it's not on a white background.
3. The white helicopter and the 2 DMG stickers are tiny and easy to miss (though this might also be down to my failing eyesight )
4. The DMG heli-sales.co.uks decals for the front are printed on the decals as heli-sales.co.uk DMG so they'll have to be seperated.
5. .... and you're right, Kerr's isn't all that white.
I'll get a pic up later for you.
