Is this the monaghan poltry car?
I had plans to do that car but after sending a number of emails to mckinstry with no reply I gave up
So I wouldn't count on any help from Kenny

guys i hate to be bearer of bad news but sometimes rally drivers just are not into models, even if it is of there past/present cars.
i contacted j j flemin and paddy white and the reponse was neither wanted a model of there present cars!

Why buy a model when you have the real thing parked up in your garage?
I find it's usually the codrivers who are into collecting models.

Re: mckinstry 1982 escort........
The reg no on that Kenny car DMB 857X was a works car....driven by Roger Clarke on the RAC Rally in 1981...ie the previous year ..... what your looking at BMD......when Clakre drove it ,it was an orange/red ish colour..(genuine Ford colour of the time)..sponsored by " Quicks for Ford" and built by M.C.D. Services....how do I know ?????? CD models made this model...(a beauty)...CD 004...... and I have it.....In Kennys hands I THINK the car was white.....STOP...STOP....STOP..... NEW INFO...... Kenny McKinstry/ John McGaffin competed in the Belfast Telegraph Ulster Rally 1982 in a RED Mk2 Escort door number 16....as another person wrote.............. it had" KD Kars of Gilford" on it Also had " Graham Contracts Dromore" plus "Bobby Campbell Motors"... The reg.no of this car was HIJ 980.......how do I know this??????????? Xav made a model of this car...(another beauty) and I have that TOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!....now I don't think I can do anymore for you...

Billy what car are you looking photos of white with Monaghan Poultry or red with KD Cars?
The KD Cars car would be the easiest to do re decals and if you have a spare Clark Cossack MKll

I had plans to do the Monaghan poultry car but 2 reasons that have stopped it firstly Kenny didn't reply to any of my requests for photos and more so that its so quiet sales wise at moment
