Rally Sweden 2014
So Rally Sweden is not far away. Craig Breen has enter his Feista WRC for the event, seen a picture of it on facebook and its a stunning livery. Really very nice.

Re: Rally Sweden 2014
good to see a young talent trying to find place in WRC category, those are the future of WRC..
but, in my opinion its not the best decision to spend your limited budget with a snow rally while you Craig is faster on Tarmac. I would prefer a tarmac event or even gravel instead of snow.
I hope he will a great experience and good result for his future and sponsors. we need more and competitive young talents for the future of WRC.

Re: Rally Sweden 2014
Its true that he would be known to be faster on tarmac, but hes aiming to be a full works driver where you can no longer have a weak surface. You've got to be quick everywhere.
By competing on snow, he gains experience of the conditions and is under no pressure. If hes slow hes still learning, if hes quick hes shown he can put it up against the Scandinavians on their home soil. Win win for craig. His speed on tarmac is known but he can still gain some attention by being fast on snow and thats what he needs at this stage of his career.

Re: Rally Sweden 2014
to get factory seat he first has to be successful with his speed and clever strategy.
if you ask my opinion instead of spending 150-200.000euro for a surface he can't be competitive he should do local snow events with cheaper budget to gain experience.
in any case he has the best motivation & support....

Re: Rally Sweden 2014
Stephen I believe its a slang term for beetles, due to the noise of the engines, and has been carried on in some places to mean all v-dubs.....
