Tony Pond Metro 6R4 Lurgan Park 1991
Dear All,
I'd be very grateful for any shots of the rear (or rear 3/4 views) of Tony Pond's 6R4 at Lurgan Park in 1991. There are a few shots from the front online and the odd one of the flank, but nothing of the rear.
I'm hoping to create a 1/43 scale version for my collection, so any help with pictures will save me from making it up... or not making the model at all!!
Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance, guys.
Cheers, Steve

I'm sure someone else is already working on this one, and I suspect he'll drop along shortly.

Yeah, I also gather someone already has all of the reference material required Steve, and is gradually 'working up' the artwork files for some pukka screenprinted decals. However, as any model related project, I also gather that the individual in question is immensely busy at present.

Thanks fellas.... I think!
We have a mysterious stranger, who may not be a stranger at all, who may be doing a model of the car at some stage or other.
If anyone does have a shot showing the rear of the car, please let me now. I'd be very grateful - it's just a project for my own collection, not a production run.
Also, David, did you have any thoughts on the Wurth 6R4 I emailed you about?
Cheers, Steve

Just watched the video, Mark, and it's clear what a great talent Tony Pond was and a great loss he still is.
Thanks for the link. I'd not seen that before. Great slippy-slidey action. Very enjoyable.
Thanks again, Steve

Tony Pond's 1991 Burmah Lurgan Park Rally entry is still very much part of my plans for CODE343, however my redundancy from the graphic design, artwork and print industry, forced an unplanned obstacle in the process of creating the artwork as I no longer have access to my preferred Apple Mac platform, or the required software.
I am now in full-time employment by the way - as a Warehouse Operative for Marks & Spencer at Castle Donington - however I have yet to ascertain how a tape gun, pallet truck, or hand-held terminal will actually assist me to produce the decal artwork required!

Hi David,
Sorry to hear you've had a change of job.... and loss of access to the electronic bits you need for your design work.
Are you coming along to Rally Day on the 20th? Hope to see you there....
Cheers and speak soon, Steve
