Anyone know where I can get photos of the Ford Corsair that did the Liege-Rome-Liege in 1964. Car was red with#62 on the door driven by David Seigle-Morris and Tony Nash was navigator. There is one front shot on Forum-auto. Side and rear shots are whats needed.

No rear photos on the photo link.

James

Rare car and weird one to go rallying in.

My guess is a there will be a GB plate on the rear panel and the rally plate positioned in the centre of the boot.

Who is ever going to question you??

I will ask Graham Robson for you.

What are you using as a base? An old Dinky or the dreadful Carrarama model?

......but what project is it for?

Cheers
Chris

Just thinking of that Cystic Fibrosis charity day in Cork in August organised by the Classic Ford guys. We have tentative plans to put on a display of models so a history of Ford in rallying might be a nice theme. We all have the usual suspects in our collections. So I was looking at the Corsair, Fiesta ST, Ford Comete and any older fords from the early days of rallying. I do have a Tulip rally Ford pop.

I recall seing a Mk1 Consul or it may have been a Zypher with a door plate some where ?????.........We have the mk2 Cortina the British Ford Team used (with an Irish Reg. number) on one of the marathon Rallys....1 of 6 models ever made and we end up with two of them in the one two miles apart James....
I have an Anglia 1/43 and a 1/1 Anglia rally car invited for that day !!!!
