Very very nice Paul. Cool

Do you think it will be easy to convert to a rally version?

Im not an expert but i think ford diamond white was the colour used for mk3 escorts and it is more creamy than a washing machine gloss white / much more than you realise. I was in my brother in laws paint shop 5 months ago and a guy came in with a merc convinced it was pure white. My BIL showed him a colour card against a piece of pure white A4 and i was blown away by how different the Merc colour was to pure white. I think this shade difference is amplified on a 1/43rd. I also can testify to this as this i bought ford diamond white spray can for another job and was surprised that it wasnt as pure white as i expected. I also took a quick snap under a yellowish normal light bulb which may be a factor

Not sure how easy it will be to convert. Two reasons. 1) ive dismantled 2 neos and cracked the shell on both. I think its because i should be heating up the model to soften the heat glue they use before trying to prise apart the pieces. Brute force which easily snaps glue on diecasts is much more risky on resin cast models. 2) records suggest every rs1700 prototype was unique. Air scoops and under front bumper seem to be the biggest differences. I think it would be easier to work with forum member FLEA's to be released kits (which apparently will be made available this side of xmas) and shape putty to your needs rather than deconstruct and respray a built neo.
