when is too much too much!!

i held in my hand today the 106 of gary jennings that kmd built a few of, lovely little model and would go well beside my jennings evo model but when he asked me £375 i very quickly handed it back to him! however its been playing on my mind since and the more i think about it the more i fall in love with it!

If money was no object and you where a millionaire, that would be peanuts.. but thats alot of money if your an everyday normal norman! lol

Do you really think it's worth that sort of money Paul, personally I don't think any 1/43 is worth that money unless as Beaney says your a millionaire.

If you want it badly, it's worth as much as you are willing to pay for it!

paul, have to say m8 imho thats crazy money for what it is....i thought nearly £200 for a ltd edition meeke 1:18 scoob was bad enough, but for a 'wee one' ?!!.......no way m8, no way.........

That is a lot for that particular model, when is "too much, to much" I think it is when people are borrowing money to buy them, at the end of the day there are far more important areas to cover before we buy our models.

Foly Huck thats some price for a model, I was actually going to put up a post looking for one of these but looking at that price has ruled out a GarryJ 106 parking in my cabinet unless someone donates one or offers it at a realistic price.

Speaking of GarryJ and Peugeots, was there ever a model of the S1600 206 done

Dificult question and perhaps an even more dificult answer. I guess it is a nice model .....is too much when you can NOT afford it .......or when it costs more than you are willing to pay for it or is it when it cost less than you are willing to pay for it but you dont have the money....too much is diferent for everybody.............then as you say if you were a millionare then that would be ok?????
CONCLUSION!!!!!! Lets not buy any more models, spend the money on the lotto and when we win then we can buy more models?????????????

Its worth what you want to pay what desire you have for the model and has been stated by M if it puts you in debt is it all worth it.

You could buy a 1/1 scale off Gumtree for that money and have more fun


If it was the Mark Fisher one I'd say get it bought but it's only a Jennings model,
Yeah it would be nice to have but that sort of money could buy a better model, I think anyway,
