Coyne Lotus Sunbeam
I asked Brian to get a set of decals drawn for the John Coyne 1982 Circuit of Ireland Sunbeam as part of the tarmac championship winning display in Clonakilty last March. He did a superb job and as a result i got enquiries to get further models made. For reasons that are not relevant here I ended up buying a number of sets of the decals widely advertised on ebay from Spain from someone calling himself all_1one1_euro . It was reasonable to expect that they would be complete considering the relative simplicity of the car concerned.
It turns out that there are no less than 7 decals missing - not insignificant ones either - all 4 decals from the roof , front and rear event plates and RIGID from the rear. This guy has obviously been very sloppy in doing whatever minimal research work he carried out. Its a word of warning to anyone who has bought from him - I have sent a complaint. I was tempted to buy the 2 other Circuit of Ireland decal sets he has done - Rover and 6R4 - but I am now wondering how many decals are missing from these - I don't have the advantage of having someone as dilligent as Brian doing the research work for me.

That's not good James. I do think his name has come up before because of incomplete decal sets.

His feedback looks OK . Its in for a bit of a kicking as I bought a number of sets so multiple negative feedbacks should reflect the reality. It still leaves me with the headache of trying to get the missing decals done by others.

Re: Coyne Lotus Sunbeam
Just spotted his name on another forum for similar. Decals missing, no proper white print, black box around white text. From what I understand about that seller, he will try fix whats wrong. But they shouldnt be for sale if they are not right. Too many complaints on missing decals for my liking. I know he has several sets of decals that Id be interested in, but its easy to churn out decals when half of them are missing

James
From memory Cowley had 'Issues' with this Guy ref 6R4 Decals! There should be a Thread with the details of that incident!
I bought a couple of sets from him, the print quality is poor!
I also didn't like the way he copied / released the McHale Monza Decals that Carlo had first offered the market!

Re: Coyne Lotus Sunbeam
Did he use minilights in the 82 circuit, I'm hoping to build one of these but my kit has o nly minilights,I was actually going to buy my decals from that all 1 1 Euro guy ,it's obvious there are no roof decals whatsoever, only thing is they are relatively cheap if I can't find anything else they might have to do

Re: Coyne Lotus Sunbeam
Might still have a few sets of these decals minus the red strips left over. The red was to be painted on as it would look better
