Nuremburg Toy Fair 2017

Biggest fair of the year where most of the manufacturers that supply our hobby will exhibit. Hopefully some of what we see will be available this year unless we are talking Ixo!

Not neccessarily show related but noticed that Otto have announced they are doing the Celica Twin Cam Turbo Safari winner.

Both models shown so far have been the Liatti ones but there is a McRae on the list




Minichamps have also shown a prototype Quattro rally car

I think the Autoart Impreza wheels are disappointing for what will be an expensive model, the rest of the model looks superb but IMO the wheels look cheap and let the model down.

I agree especially considering they have made a better stab at those exact wheels before

There are some nice big boy toys appearing (alas no 1/43's of note). Silkolene 6r4 (Gollop Rallycross??) looks bang tidy. Check out Andy Howdles Rallymodels Facebook site. Also safari Delta and others

IXO have just posted a picture on facebook that the 2017 WRC cars will start being produced from May 2017 - believe it when i see it.....

As we are still waiting for the 2016 Hyundai their promised Ford Puma, Celica Twin Cam, and lord knows how many previously announced liveries of existing mouldings then I wish they would concentrate on getting their general ship in order first!
