Very nice. Looks the part. An iconic car. You should be well pleased with that.

Sure is - Cork 20, 1983. Got two models made, one for himself and one for me. Happy days!
I have the artwork for those decals, if you want them - the term 'artwork' is used cautiously .

I thought they were fine to be honest, they tended to dry out very quickly so you have to be quite accurate with them, there are a few missing from the sunbeam and this has been discussed elsewhere on the forum,so this is still a work in progress, as regards the manta, it wouldn't be of the same standard as my other one, see picture below, but I bought the manta on eBay for 10 Euro and resprayed it myself, which maybe wasn't the best paint job,but overall I'm happy enough, if I was doing it again I'd start with a black car.David Napier wrote:2 nice additions, and two I've considered doing when I ever get time, how were the decals to work with?

Literally just finished this, started it the same time as the other one, so only took about 8 months.1972 Donegal rally, as far as I know, his last event in the car.

That looks brilliant............one small detail that many miss out on on the early Mk1 Escorts is the "silver grill" which is correct at that time................i think the black/silver edged grills appeared first on the RS 2000
