1/18 Rally Shuttle

Spent a few days before the model show building this rally shuttle.

Its based on a cheap motormax trailer and built using styrene rods and sheets. Not bad for a first attempt but might build another one now that Ive got some experience working with styrene. Im thinking a different trailer would be better suited, as this one is quite wide.

Had the pleasure of seeing this in the flesh - looks stunning.

Firstly - excellent work.
On a more general point; most of the shuttles, and my knowledge only goes as far as 1/43rd's, are too big. Too long, too wide and the drawbars are far too generous. In fact some of the older rally cars were transported on no more than a few bars welded together. In another life , when I will have the time, I will "cut down" some of the shuttles I have to make more realistic models.
