otto delivery issue

Delivery of some January models, including toyota 1600 gt, delayed til february due to french air strikes....

Thats going to be nothing compared against the current virus outbreak in China. Think you will see all manufacturers hit by that.

Now official. No further Otto deliveries for the foreseeable future.

not good.....only ones available are whatever are in otto shop....but in the grand scheme of things i guess we should be comcerned with the plight of those affected by this outbreak...hopefully it will not be long before its sorted..

at least Otto are maintaining their sense of humour...

[i]And above all, here are some guidelines for the Covid-19 virus:
Do not use the tissue paper protecting the models as toilet paper, even if it is very soft, it is not very solid, I let you guess what could happen.
Do not eat the polystyrene which protects the models, even in the event of a food shortage, it is not very digestible.
You can use the transparent bags to make protective gloves but do not put them on your head.
The cardboard is burning very well, the packaging would warm you up if there was no electricity anymore.
Above all, keep your OttOmobile models well, which could become a solid exchange value just like gold if the world ever collapses.
Last info, the models of the OttO Club from March 2020 will arrive at your home at the end of the month, they are guaranteed virus-free, we treated them through a flame thrower, just to sterilize them.

received may order yesterday, so at least the models are eventually getting here, albeit delayed by a few months... looking forward now ro arrival of fiesta, chevettes and astra in next few weeks or months...patience is a virtue...

At least they make what they say they are going to unlike certain other companies like Minichamps who just cancel stuff at will unless they are F1 or Porsche GT cars.

All I'm bothered about with Otto is that they dont sacrifice build and finish quality by moving factories. Waiting is fine by me!
