GT Spirit models

think was mentioned before but can't remember-can someone clarify the situation with GT Spirit models ? i know they are resin an sealed, i know that they are linked to Otto for development stage of model, but then they independently produce and market the finished item themselves...my query is do they take a model made by other manufacturers, eg Otto or Kyosho, and customise them hence the exclusivity and higher price, or do they manufacture from scratch? i see some of their models are branded GT Spirit only, while others are branded Kyosho/GT Spirit...??

cheers rory, yeah as i thought but wondered if a model is branded GT Spirit Kyosho, is it a std Kyosho model then converted by GT Spirit and released as dual branded limited edition,,,,
