A run of models

Does anyone do a run of models these days ?

It would be Skoda R5 2019 car may be 20-30?

I suspect many of the usuals have been burned by poor choice of subject. Sometimes that is evident from the outset but moretimes its not. I would imagine we will never again see the likes of the old Forum model being rerun. The outlay involved is quite substantial so you would want most of the models booked before you would embark on such a venture.

Ask srsmodels on here he may do it.

Speak to Richard at Rallying4Belgium possibly? Depends which championship the car is from I guess. If its for driver and their sponsor then maybe there is still a demand but for one that is of a car you like then would say that is a big gamble. As James has said there have been lot of choices of model that are too subjective.

I think the days of larger runs are gone unless you can get an absolute iconic car (that hasnt already been done).

The hobby has evolved so much over the years that peoples collections are quite specific and to find a model thatbfits into all of those potential buyers collections is hard

Much less chance of loosing money and less work to just create and sell decals. Less outlay as you dont have to buy the bases and with decals there is no limit on how many you sell. Just print as you go.

But huge credit to those that are still producing runs. It was the basis of the hobby
