Would be a brave man to bet against Kalle on home turf next week.

I think that goes for the remainder of this year. We're witnessing a very special driver in Kalle. For such a young lad, there is a very mature head on his shoulders. The worrying part is that he makes it look so easy and effortless. The end of stage interviews make him look as he has just finished a WRC game on a Playstation! Methinks we can look forward to this fella for the next 20 years.

Ogier used to moan all the time about running first on the road.
For Kalle it appears to be no problem at all.

So after the first full day its Tanak in the lead even though he's claiming every corner is going to be a potential accident. Lappi is top Toyota and Solberg crashed out of the rally on the first bend of the first proper forest stage.

Craig's form has dropped a bit which is a shame - i wonder if he might benefit from finishing a few rallies and then worrying about the podiums as he seems to be pushing extremely hard from the start of each rally.

For Craig I think the old adage of ... To Finish First You First Have To Finish....... would help his cause.
As for Rovenperra he does just that, he just keeps finishing.
