Re: Kinley MK2
Sunstar decals come off either with a finger nail or some T-Cut. I avoid using any sort of nail polish remover as the paint on the MK2s is quite thin, its very easy to go through the base colour to the metal on any of the edges, even when super careful.
Mirrors are glued on last, so if there is a decal underneath, its difficult to get it off with the glue over it.
I've never worked on one of these, but the front arches appear to be painted yellow rather than decal. Given the curves here, theres going to be a lot of work to get the yellow off without damaging the white underneath. I full respray may be in order which you probable want to avoid.
If your having trouble selling it, turning back to plain white is going to be difficult and may not be worth the hassle. You might be better off disassembling and selling the parts individually.

Re: Kinley MK2
hi steven,
i would just add to brians post that i had several dismantled examples of SS escorts and was able to build about 4 complete, resprayed them all white or red or black and they sold immedistely, but none for over £50. considering the going rte plus the influence of the IXO versions, you may be hard pushed to get your asking price tbh mate...
best wishes mate
