I have just put a guide in the tutoriol section on how to upload images to the forum. I hope it helps people that are struggling to get pictures up at the moment.

They sit in the Outbox until the recipient read's them Chris - only then do they get moved to the Sent box. Wink

noticed this evening that threads are marked red, showing 'new posts' but when i go into them its the same old posts ive already read......no biggie, just thought i'd mention it, i've not had that problem before iirc.....

can i suggest a wee addition please nicky/mods? not a complaint or problem, just wondered if we can add, in the members profile section, a 'topics started by joe bloggs' section to go alongside the 'topics joe bloggs has posted on' and 'posts by joe bloggs'.......i for one have related certain issues to certain members, but have no way of retrieving the thread from the start, at the moment....

just a wee request, no biggie, and apologies if there actually is a member called 'Joe Bloggs' for unauthorised use of your name lol!! Embarassed

It must be something particular to me at home guys, as I am now on my Apple Mac at work, and everything appears perfectly normal in Firefox! scratch

I'll do a virus scan when I get in.

It must have been my recent Firefox upgrade that caused the problem, as after a quick internet search, a Firefox reset has cured the problem. No more spam links to crappy giveaways! cheers

help lads please, for some silly reason images uploaded from photobucket are now so big i'm losing half of the picture; i havent changed anything, have reverted back to old photobucket with no success...whats causing this?

i had the same happen to me few months back,didnt touch anything and the pics just went oversize!
i went to imageshack,havnt had a prob since.

It may be a limitation of the forum software to save bandwidth, but id say its a setting within the admin panel.

Billy, with photobucket, upload your pictures and when your getting the image link, theres an option of scaling down the image. im pretty sure 600x400 will show the whole picture here

ah right cheers for comments /advice lads...for some resson after 5 mins or so they went back to normal agsain and the whole pix appeared, but brian i'll keep an ey on the size next time when linking...
