1/18 Corolla WRC Donnelly Circuit of Ireland 2012

Going to continue the good weekend of 1/18 models we are having with another one Ive been working on for a few weeks on and off. Stripped this back to metal using a new technique Im working on and fully resprayed it again in white. Might have gotten away with just removing the decals from the base model but I need the practice spraying and painting around the windows.

Decaled it up today using Jawi decals and they went on without any problems. Still need to convert to right hand drive, and put back on the indicators/aerials but thats a job for another day. Very happy with the decal on the doors as they cut very easily so the doors still open on the model.

There has been a lot of builds this weekend alright. Would love to see more 1/18 builds

I only got my own two done because im off work for 2 weeks. Heading away tomorrow for a few days but have free week the week after so it will be models all week. Have a few customer models to work on as well as another Irish 1/18 for my own collection

class brian.more power to the 'big boys!!' do you know if jawi has more of these decals m8 or are they all sold out? unfortunately i'm on the wrong side of the atlantic at the moment and dont get on here too long, so any info on this would be appreciated...

I dont know if Jawi has any more, i did buy a few of these and a few from the fastnet so ive spare sets. Had the crazy intention of building them to sell. Even bought the base models, but got greedy and decided to keep the base models myself as they are getting harder to get without spending a fortune
