Stratos looking REALLY good Gary. What a car in their day!
I would fancy a Cathal Curley version if anyone knows of Arena decals hiding anywhere?

Cheers Colin..yes..what a car.Took cahonies to drive 1 of them beasts....and Curleys Stratos would be nice alright and less decals too. Have been working on Curleys Chequered flag Porsche. Must dig it out and get it finished..may even do a run..well that was the plan...

Superb model again Gary, HPI a great choice as a base. Your bringing out some superb models fair play to you!

Ordered the Curley car from grand prix models many years ago but ended up getting the Walfridsson version.

I have the three Arena Coleman Stratossessss and the KMD one - really nice set.

Thanks to Rory for putting me in touch a few years back with a guy in Austria who was selling his entire Arena stratos collection so i bought the Coleman and Rothmans sections (the Curley car had already been snapped up)
I am useless at this posting photos business but if you go to the Russell Brookes Collection thread you will find a link on the second page to flikr where there is an old photo of my then Coleman collection.

if you want james take a pic of the stratos you have in the collection and email it to me.

There is a stratos in Kerry - but a kit car type of machine. Can't be sure if that is it or not.

kit car stratos is called Hawk....... i've had a notion of building one for 20 years!!! talked to a guy in portstewart who was posing up and down in his red one, sweet motor, but think i embarassed him in front of his 'trophy girlfriend' by coming up and asking if thats a real stratos or just a hawk kitcar!!

you'd think i'd just pi__ed in his cornflakes to see his face!! lol!

anyway, just thought i'd mention it...............

A 1/1 scale Code 3 - Fair play to him for building it. It looks fabulous. ..and its great to see him bringing it out to play!
