Took Dave Zeus' suggestion and modified a Solido Escort RS Turbo Series 1 in to this beauty.



Took a Vanguards Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4x4, ground off the bonnet louvres and repainted the bonnet to make the RWD version.

IXO Ford Escort RS Cosworth "Monte" special edition

In 2010 after much thought, the Escort 1300E was given AVO Owners Club full member status in recognition of the models part in the history of the AVO plant. While it may not have been built on the AVO merry-go-round, the first 5000 cars were assembled at the site and were instrumental in keeping the AVO plant financially viable.

Ford Escort RS2000 MK2 X-Pack by Vanguards. I had a chance to buy a factory produced x-pack RS2000 with the 2.1 engine and twin 44 IDFs an Magnesium Minilite wheels before i bought my Venetian Red RS2000. I always regret not buying it.

Replaced by cheap and cheerful silver Cararama Capri RS2600 with this yellow Minichamps model. Much nicer.
