Have been offered a model of the Makinen/Mannisenmaki Lancer on the San Remo finish ramp but not sure what sort of price to offer the guy for it. Any one got any ideas of a value on it??

This is not the actual model but a pic from t'interwebs

The cheapest i can find on ebay is £60 plus postage. Theres another one up for £75 +p. I would probably think a fair offer of £50 on that basis.

Bloody hell should have kept hold of mine!

If that's the going rate its really shot up recently as I would have though £25 tops previously.

There seems to be a lifecycle in many models. A commercial release price and then leftover stock can drop to very low prices. They then disappear and come back as "rare" with all kinds of prices attached. From memory I got a number of finish ramp cars a few years back at around the €10 mark. We have now entered the silly season for those apparently.
