I'm not sure if the airbrush paint & lacquer can be mixed the same way or not but I think it would work ok,
Also if anyone is painting a silver model, this way would save having to paint the model first then lacquer it,
It should work out with less coats being applied and a better finish,
I'll play about with this and then maybe put a thread up in the Building help/advice section,

The 555 Impreza sounds interesting Paul, I'll get this lot cleared up first then get a few Evo's done for Steve Wink

I got the floor pan, wheels and cages for these Imprezas painted today and built the first model up tonight,
The other two S12 Imprezas will be built up tomorrow night but I'll hold off building up the Boland 2dr Impreza until I have the decals fitted,

Cheers Paul,

I touched the rear spoiler up again as it had a white edge where it sits on the boot lid, it should have been black, I can touch up the front number plate holder black if you want,
EDIT, just got the PM< I'll touch it up black lol

Also got another one built up, this is going to be Donnelly Reid Transport Jim Clark Rally,
The other base model to be built up is for Rob but I need to see pics of the car he is building to make sure all the bits are correct first

I used a different way of doing the black for the window rubber lines on my model but it didn't work out as good as I would have liked Sad

The way I did yours and Rob's worked out better so I may redo mine if I have time!! lol

Have you any rear pics on the one you are building, I just want to check if the spoiler uprights are white or black,
The ends are white but I'm not sure about the middle ones,

The Bosch M3 would be finished by now if McMurray would leave me alone to get a bit of work done!! lol!

No it's on hold until I get the decals redone,
I got a few sets made up for the red Marlboro stripes but they were a we bit too small,
This was my fault but the decal man has said he would fix this and do them again which was dead on of him and Embarassed

I had a bit of free time today so added a few more to this Boland Impreza,

When I stripped the base for painting I damaged the decal on the rear side windows so I'm look a set if anyone has some spare,
