2023 Millstreet Vintage Club Model Toy and Diorama Show Oct 8th

Back for the first time since 2019 due to Covid-19, this is always a fantastic event with lots of great models on show for every taste. While most Model Shows cater heavily for farming models, given this one is located in the heart of Coleman country, there is always a huge display of rally models on show. Lots of forum members from this part of the country also putting on displays mean it almost becomes an unofficial forum meet up.

For anyone around that weekend, its a great event.

Always an impressive show. Alas I'm working on the 8th, so will miss it this year.

I have to echo Brian's comments. Well worth a visit.

Unfortunately I expect to be in Sanremo at the historic rally that weekend. As an aside I expect to be in San Marino at Rallylegends the following weekend - current plan is for my old sparring partner Andrew Nesbitt and myself to shake the cobwebs out of his ex works Mitsubishi WRC 05.

Entry for Legends confirmed along with 7 other Irish car/crews - Fitzmaurice/Foley(S12C), McHale/Murphy(Focus WRC), Kelly/Kennedy(M3), Breen/Hayes(Legacy), Fanning/Chen(Skoda), Coleman/Dunne(Escort), Cullen/Smeets (M3).

I'm in Paris for the Rugby otherwise Id come down for it.

Fantastic show as always. Great to catch up with some familiar faces and see some excellent displays. Donie's Craig Breen tribute display was great, such a varied range of models and some cracking builds in there too. 90% of my collection live in their boxes for the rest of the year, so its great to be able to get them out and see them together. Events like these really get the motivation going to have some bigger and better next year.

For now, the long grind of getting my models back into storage continues, but well worth the effort, and a trip next year if you havnt been.
