Nearly sure JOB has this model made. Maybe even KMD did it for him

No do not think it was limited. Think maybe James got Kevin to build a one off for him. Class model.

Funny that the Bill Connelly car is mention tonight, i stripped an Otto M3 earlier for this very car. Yes the green was causing me some problems, but the artwork is done. Am trying to get the masking right one this 1/18 first and see how the paint turns out

Cheers Colin, was actually thinking last night that your the man for the job as the paint job might be beyond me. Ive masked up a 1/43 today and gave it a spray of yellow. Just waiting for it to dry now and will get a coat of green on it and see how it goes. Dont want to mess up an otto just yet

Yeah I've played about with a 1/43 also, 1/18 are a lot more money to replace,
I painted the green and was planing to do the yellow in decal to hide any paint edge,
Sure give me a shout if needs be, all I would need would be a few BP decals that you will be using so I can get a close match,

The only thing with this Paul is someone is sending pics which they are entitled to do and as you say as long as they are correct, but we had this before with Italian decal makers.

Again its going back to what the likes of APS would like to bring out and then find out someone is doing them too and good that Diegoq and Alan can work this together but in my mind its still not your own model code 3 which you have took time, money and planning to do.
Its ok for collectors to buy up whats out there and I am sure this is not a problem for you, but there will come a time when the likes of the model makers from the past will think whats the point and pack in

totally agree with you on this subject! it must be gut wrenching when you sit and plan models, source pics and bases, paint codes etc etc and find out someone is producing decals....this i dont like!! Evil or Very Mad and thats the problem there is going to be with so many producing decals nowadays.
fair play to bruno who design's the focus decals,he never once came to me or the forum and tried to sell decals on to make money! yes if you contact him he will sell (at a very reasonable price too) you a set of decals to make a model but hes not in it for any quick buck,he makes the decals for his own collection.
its great too see alan and diegoq working together if this could happen more it would save alot of hassle perhaps.
with so many decal producers out there now,and they seem to concentrate big towards the irish scene it has made me think what if we see (and could so easily) double ups from different modellers what the value of our collection will take!

Received a lovely package today from Peter. Meagher Escort and O Callaghan Celicas. The green on the ST205 is a bit too bright like the pictures, but it will do for now. Other than the green its a great model.

Other 2 models are spot on, the ST185 is a really nice model. Cant wait to put it beside Mchale and Nesbitt celicas
