Superb! Great work.
I like the stand you use for mounting the model on. Looks like the top of a piston!! What is it - it looks to be very versatile and certainly more stable thn my hands!!!
Cheers and keep up the good work, Steve

Hi Hampton Caught.
Yes! it´s very versatile and helpful. You can put the model in many positions.
For me it is an impresicindible tool.
You can buy it here:

Re: Canariolpa´s projects
As Steve said, it's a handy tool but if i'm decaling a model i tend to build it completely then put it on it's original base to decal up. Only problem with that is you have to take apart again to clearcoat it.

Re: Canariolpa´s projects
Well that's an easy enough 'tool' to use when decalling. I've not thought about that before! Doh!
Thanks for passing on the 'handy household hint', Chris.
It's one of the many excellent reasons for being on the Forum.
I'll be using the 'back on the baseboard' technique for my next build.
Cheers, Steve

Interesting. Am i the only person who doesnt clear coat after decaling? I clear coat and then decal on top as i figure that is what would happen on a real car.

Re: Canariolpa´s projects
Mmmm! Interesting point!
I've clear-coated before and after decaling (on different projects) and overall, prefer to decal first before getting the lacquer out. The only issue is to be VERY careful with the first coat of lacquer over the decals, as some decals can be broken up or distorted by the spray of lacquer. That said, I prefer to do this now as it helps protect the decals.
What do others do????!
Cheers, Steve

Re: Canariolpa´s projects
I always apply clear-coated before and after decaling.
After decaling I apply one or two light layers to protect the decals.
I do light layers to prevent damage to the decals and excessive brightness.

Re: Canariolpa´s projects
I only do it after but if i think the decals are good enough i don't do it at all.
