Re: Canariolpa´s projects
Before & after, but it's your choice entirely if you chose to open up your model to do the modification of course...
Re: Canariolpa´s projects
Thank you very much for your comment David, Yes, I understand what you mean (I hadn't noticed that detail).
I´m going to cut the front pillars.
Thank you David

Cowley wrote:Great progress Marcos, that looks brilliant! I do like a model maker who paints the inside of the cars black, as it gives a much more realistic appearance of a dark interior to a model.canariolpa wrote:
One comment though, if you want it to look even more accurate, simply cut off the front part of the rollcage. The Metro 6R4 didn't have any cage visible around the windscreen as it is contained within the pillars themselves. This has always been an error on the diecast models going right back to the very first Vitesse & Skid releases.
Here's an example of what a real Metro 6R4 looks like around the windscreen area. Note how clear it is around the front pillars...
This is the same for McRae's 1986 Corte Ingles entry as well...

No problem Marcos, and thank you for taking my comment in the manner in which it was made.

It is always positive to get comments on which I can learn more. Thank you for doing so!

What are you using to strip the paint off?

Hello.
I use decapant liquid. It is the fastest and most effective way to remove paint because it is a very corrosive liquid. You should be very careful when using it.
