Nuremburg Toy Fair/Spielwarenmesse 28th Jan to 2nd Feb 2015

Only seems 5 minutes since the 2014 edition and unsurprisingly we are still waiting for a number of the models shown then to be released however doesnt stop us looking forward to the trade show of greatest interest to diecast fans each year!

Will be trawling the net looking for pics and links so if you find anything on your travels post it here for us to share. Hopefully it will be a good year for rally fans now that the WRC has got a bit more impetus behind it which may mean that overall interest amongst the manufacturers for rally car models will improve. We can but hope:D

Not seen any pics yet as the show opens in a couple of days however have heard that Autoart are intending on doing the Loeb Pikes Peak car in 1/18th.

That will be very nice

No doubt very expensive as well. Autoarts are incredibly detailed models but prices are very high. Too rich for my blood.

Im hoping for a new M3 from Otto. Preferably one without spotlights, sitting on 5 spokes and without any grooves in the body to aid masking. Is that too much to ask.

What are you guys hoping for?

I would like to see more off the 80's and 90's cars done. Yes loads have been done but there are plenty of others out there.

Plain white 6R4, Mk2 Astra GTE/Kadett E GSI, Nova GTE would all be nice plus a few road cars.

I think its OTTO doing this one. Otto will have pics of their new stuff on their Facebook page today apparently with the show opening tomorrow.

Otto stand pics. Rothmans Porsche 911 SCRS! Citroen BX4TC and 205T16 for starters...

The 911 SCRS looks fab! No other rally cars by the looks of things. I thought they would have a Sierra ans Escort Cosworth done by now.

BX4TC is there but not found pics of rally versions of the two Fords that is true.

Otto are also now behind Solido so expect more from that brand this year.

Seen the Minichamps "new" items list for 2015. As usual not a lot to interest us rally fans but interesting to see a Toyota Corolla Group A rally version (think it will be the booted car) in 1/43 and a Merc 450SLC Bandama in 1/18th.

Had heard the 911 was coming but delighted to see an actual model. Looks very good. Should have the Coleman west cork sweeper decals by the time this comes out. Might need to pick up a few for myself

Anyone with a AA 22b should ebay it now before the prices drop. Wonder will they re-release the rally version as well. Would love a p2000 instead though.

I also see Belkits are will be releasing a 1/24 Mk1 Escort Kit. There was a resin kit which required a mk2 plastic kit to complete it but this is great for anyone into that scale

Oh WOW. The rear wheels are even correct. Its a pity about the roof decals as trying to do the trans-kit will be tricky for an Irish one.
